Travel Portland Director of International Tourism Administration: The Director of International Tourism Administration provides direction and manages high-impact projects that bring international visitors to Portland. The position includes, but is not limited to, leading and implementing cooperative projects with key partners. Key collaborators aiding in the recruitment of international business include Brand USA, the Portland Region and others. Priority international audiences include consumers, trade clients and nontraditional tourism partners. This role will also engage with Travel Portland industry partners, Portland-based businesses, government agencies and educational institutions. Starting salary range is $95,000-$105,000. Pendleton Chamber of Commerce Tourism & Hospitality Coordinator: The Tourism & Hospitality Coordinator’s purpose will be to increase the number and frequency of special events that will bring overnight visitors to Pendleton through assisting existing events to grow in scope, recruiting, and help create new events. Utilize existing venues in and around Pendleton while maximizing local history, culture and infrastructure. Responsible for the creation, design and support of new events. This includes but is not limited to: coordination of the scheduled events, contract negotiations with groups and events, and securing room rate options with lodging properties. This position will also facilitate community-wide hospitality training, as well as encourage individual & family visits to Pendleton. Compensation: Range of $65,000-$85,000 Dependent upon experience and qualifications. Benefit package included.
