The Oregon Destination Association (ODA) is a Statewide association and professional network of local and regional Destination Marketing and Management Organizations (sometimes operating as convention and visitor bureaus and chambers of commerce) who share a common interest in the vision and vitality of Oregon’s travel industry.
ODA’s members are the direct link between grassroots tourism-related destination development, private sector business, industry initiatives and tourism services across Oregon. ODA is the public affairs voice and advocate for DMOs at the statewide level, and with our partners at Travel Oregon, the Oregon Restaurant & Lodging Association and the Oregon Tourism Leadership Academy. As such, ODA is a leading voice in Oregon’s tourism industry.
FIVE BENEFITS OF ODA MEMBERSHIP
ODA is the voice and advocate for DMOs and RDMOs in the Oregon Legislature. We work to influence the introduction, enactment, or modification of legislation as it relates to tourism and tourism related industries. As part of this process, we provide concise summaries of the issues that may affect your organization and arm you with the tools to communicate on key industry issues.
Network with your peers at the annual ODACon events and get the latest information, projections and research from key industry leaders. Each conference is filled with dynamic speakers, DMO leadership content, and networking.
ODA Budget and Operations Survey
Participate in and get access to surveys to help with your upcoming budget and staffing plans. See how you compare to other organizations and learn how others are gathering funding and planning expenditures.
View list of current members along with up to date contact information. Gain access to ODA professional resources, research and career / job postings.
An ODA Associate Member is any business aligned with, or in support of, ODA’s vision and purpose. Associate Members have the opportunity to sponsor and attend ODA conferences and networking activities for direct engagement with Oregon’s DMO leaders.
